Bonnie Qin is an emerging Brisbane/Meanjin based artist expecting to graduate from Queensland College of Art Griffith in 2023. Bonnie has an interest in drawing and painting practices which develop around the body. Currently her work references connections between the self and physical experiences of weight, water, illness and fleshiness.

Bonnie would like to acknowledge the traditional owners – the Jagera and Turrbal people – of the land on which she makes work and pay respects to elders past, present and future. Bonnie would like to acknowledge that this land was violently colonised and has not been ceded.
